Elena Bertolotti

 

 

Elena Bertolotti graduated in Industrial Biotechnology (LM-8 EN) at the University of Milan and is currently completing her third year of a PhD in Food Science at the University of Parma.

Her main research activities relate to the development of innovative tools for nutrition education, which is nowadays a promising strategy not only to combat and prevent malnutrition but also to reduce the environmental impact of food through the adoption of healthier and more sustainable diets. The research projects she is involved in, whether national or European, have a particular focus on the paediatric population.

Active member of the 'SINU Giovani' working group of the Italian Society of Human Nutrition (SINU).
