Filippo Bibi

 

 

Graduated in Gastronomic Sciences at the University of Parma, Filippo holds a master's degree in Human Nutrition Sciences at the University of Parma.

He is currently in his first year of a PhD programme at the Department of Food and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Parma. His research project focuses on hydration, nutrition and sports performance, with a particular focus on the crucial role of hydration in maintaining optimal health and improving athletic performance. In addition to providing nutrition education specific to the different phases of physical activity, he monitors anthropometric, nutritional and urinary variables to accurately assess the hydration level, nutritional status and general well-being of young and elite athletes. The main objective of his work is to develop new methodologies to detect hydration status, helping to support homeostasis and optimise athletes' sports performance.
